Govt transfers DIGs, SPs

The government reshuffled several key positions of the police department including officials at the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and Superintendent of Police (SP) levels, reports BSS.

According to a home ministry circular on Tuesday, the government transferred three DIGs and five SPs to different stations in the public interest.

In the reshuffle, police headquarters deputy inspector general (DIG) of police Binoy Krishna Bala has been transferred to the CID. Additional commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Mili Biswas and DIG of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Muhammad Mahbub Mohsin have been posted at the DIG police headquarters.

Besides, SP of Magura Zihadul Kabir has been transferred to Rajbari, SP of Barisal AKM Ehsan Ullah to Magura and deputy police commissioner of DMP SM Aktaruzzaman has been made SP of Barisal.
