\\\'Govt working for betterment of media\\\'

Acting Information Secretary ASM Mahbubul Alam said on Saturday the government is working relentlessly for betterment of the media as well as the journalists, reports BSS.

"The government has offered training to several hundred journalists through Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) as part of its human resource development initiatives and going to introduce master's course in journalism this December at the PIB," he added. Mr Mahbubul was addressing at a workshop and certificate giving ceremony as the chief guest at the PIB auditorium.
