Graft case filed against Paul Samity president, secy

The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) filed a case against Paul Samity president and secretary for embezzling Tk 26 million.

ACC Deputy Director Abdus Sattar filed the case with Mohammadpur thana in the city on Thursday against Rayerbazar Paul Samity Trust president Bishwanath Paul and secretary Sukhen Kumar Paul.

Rayerbazar Paul Samity Trust is a religious and charitable organisation collects donations from own community.

The duo has embezzled Tk 26 million by making fake documents.

The trust owns properties and many other businesses to run its religious activities.
