HC allows three colleges to hold admission tests

June 09, 2015 00:00:00

The High Court (HC) stayed on Monday for six months the admission policy of the Education Ministry that asked colleges to enroll students of higher secondary level on the basis of SSC results, allowing Notre Dame, Holy Cross and St Joseph colleges to hold tests for admission, reports UNB.

An HC vacation bench comprising Justice Naima Haider and Justice Iqbal Kabir passed the order upon hearing on a writ petition filed by the principals of the three colleges challenging the admission policy.
