HC gets 25 new judges

Newly-appointed 25 additional judges to the High Court division of the Supreme Court have taken their oath on Tuesday.

Chief Justice Dr Syed Refaat Ahmed administered the oath at the judges' lounge in the Supreme Court at 1:30 AM.

On Monday, the President made the appointments.

The 25 HC judges are - Md Anwarul Islam Shaheen, Md Saiful Islam, Md Nurul Islam, Sheikh Abu Taher, Aziz Ahmed Bhuiyan, Raziuddin Ahmed, Faisal Hasan Arif, SM Saiful Islam, Md Ashif Hassan, Md Ziaul Haque, Dihider Masum Kabir, Jesmine Ara Begum,

Murad A Moula Sohel, Md Zakir Hossain, Md Rafizul Islam, Md Monzur Alam, Md Lutfor Rahman, Rezaul Karim, Fatema Anwar, Mahmud Hasan, Abdur Rahman, Syed Hasan Zobair, AFM Saiful Karim, Urmee Rahman, and SM Iftekhar Uddin Mahmud.
