HC turns down bail pleas of Destiny MD, Chairman

The High Court (HC) Wednesday rejected the bail petitions of Destiny Group chairman Mohammad Hossain and managing director Rafiqul Amin, now in jail, in two money-laundering cases filed by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC).
An HC bench comprising Justice Mainul Islam Chowdhury and Justice JBM Hasan passed the order upon hearing on a petition filed by their lawyer Barrister Azmalul Hossain.
Advocate Khurshid Alam Khan stood for the ACC.
