Heat wave sweeps three divs

Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country until 06:00 pm today (Wednesday), according to the Met Office.

Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Dhaka & Khulna divisions.

The highest temperature in the country on Tuesday was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius in Mongla of Khulna while the lowest temperature 17.8 degrees Celsius in Tentulia of Rangpur.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 23.3 degrees.
