High profile Korean business team now in city

A high profile Korean business delegation arrived in city Thursday on a four-day visit to explore possibilities of investment in number of key areas including energy, power and agriculture. The six-member team led by Salim Proydhan will meet Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock and Environment Ministry Adviser CS Karim, said a press release.
They will also have meetings with the high officials of agriculture and communications ministries, director general of Power Cell, and chairman and director of different banks of the country.
A number of agreements are likely to be signed between Japan-Bangladesh Group and the Korean business delegation. The Korean businessmen have shown interest in establishing banking relationship. They will also explore investment possibilities, among others, in the sectors like communication and environment.
The Korean business delegation includes: Park Dae Ryan, chairman of One Asia Club, Korea and owner of Rich-O-Korea, a trading house. President of Munhwa Investment Corp Kim Oon Tae (Abdula), Digital Bank Co Ltd CEO Ching Young Chu and its Director Jang Yougn Jin, Owner of AA1 Fund Korea Park Sung Hwan and its Manager Kim Chang Suk.
