Hope Clinic opens at CMCH

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 17: Hope Clinic was launched at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) in the port city on Wednesday.

Director of CMCH Brigadier General S M Humayun Kabir and Principal of Chattogram Medical College (CMC) Professor Dr Shahena Akter inaugurated the clinic.

Chaired by Head of Medicine Department Professor Dr Sujot Paul, the inaugural function was addressed, among others, by Professor Dr M A Hasan, Professor Dr Aniruddha Ghosh Joy, Professor Dr Abdus Sattar, Deputy Director of CMCH Dr Aftabul Islam, Dr Shakil Waej, Dr Mahmud Hasan Arif and Dr Mirza Nurul Karim.

Addressing the function, Brigadier General Humayun Kabir said, "Hope Clinic will help the patients cure their diseases soon. It is a modern addition to health service at our hospital."

Dr Shahena Akter said, "Hope Clinic will help the students learn about counselling for patients."
