BENAPOLE, Sept 21 (UNB): A housewife was gang raped by some local terrorists at Pakshia Bazar under Sharsha Upazila early Friday.
Local people said four to five terrorists led by Imamul and Mithu kidnapped the housewife at gunpoint and took her to a nearby garden at about 12:30 midnight. They later violated her one after another and left her there in an unconscious state.
The terrorists attacked on the victim's husband when he was taking her to the Navaran Hospital after rescuing her. They also threatened him not to file a case in this connection.
She is undergoing treatment at the hospital. A case was filed.
