Human chain at DU protests 'rape incident' in Kolkata

Female students of different universities in Bangladesh have formed a human chain at Dhaka University (DU) protesting the rape of an intern doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital, reports UNB.

The protesters also demanded justice for the victim Moumita and also sought Mamata Banerjee's resignation as chief minister of West Bengal from the Human chain.

The human chain was formed at the premises of Raju Monument of the DU around 04:00 pm on Friday and later marched toward Sahid Minar under the banner titled "Raise your voice, women".
