A seminar on "Energy Security in Bangladesh and the Role of Nuclear Power" organised by Mechanical Division of Institution of Engineers' Bangladesh (IEB) will be held at its seminar room in the city today (Thursday), said a press release.
State Minister for Science and Technology Architect Yafes Osman will be the chief guest at the seminar and IEB president Prof Dr Shamim Z Basunia the special guest. Director of Virginia Tech Advanced Research Institute in USA energy expert Engr Dr Saifur Rahman will present the keynote paper at the seminar while IEB Mechanical Division chairman will preside over it. All have been requested to attend the national important seminar, the release added.
