Ihsanul Karim, a noted journalist and former press secretary to President Md Abdul Hamid, has been made Prime Minister's Press Secretary, reports UNB.
The Public Administration Ministry issued an order on Monday appointing him the Press Secretary to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on contract for one year.
He will replace AKM Shameem Chowdhuri who was made the PM's Press Secretary on June 3, 2014.
Ihsanul Karim had worked at official news agency Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) for a long time. He also served as the chief editor and managing director of BSS.
