In order to protect ecology and sustain rural economy, the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force (Ansar VDP) has launched a tree planting programme in Pabna district recently. Personnel of the Ansar VDP have planted trees on the premises of Nurdaha Ansar and VDP Club in Santhia upazila of the district in compliance with the directive of the director general of the force, and under supervision of the Ansar VDP's Pabna District Commandant Md Fazle Rabbi.
