India govt invites applications from BD students

The Indian government has invited applications from eligible Bangladeshi nationals for admission to several courses in India under Self-Financing Scheme for the academic session 2014-15, reports UNB.
The courses are MBBS, BDS, BE, Diploma in Engineering, B Pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy, said an Indian High Commission media release issued Thursday.
Candidates are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 50 per cent marks in English in the qualifying examination as well as 60 per cent marks separately in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (in case of BE/Diploma in Engineering) or Physics, Chemistry and Biology Botany, Zoology (in case of MBBS/BDS/B Pharmacy/ Diploma in Pharmacy).
The application forms and instructions are available at www.hcidhaka.gov.in and the applicants will be able to summit applications until April 17.
