Indian HC calls on President

Indian High Commissioner (HC) in Bangladesh Pankaj Saran made a courtesy call on President Md Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban Thursday, reports UNB.

During the meeting, the Indian HC mainly talked about the President's upcoming visit to India.

Pankaj Saran said the people of India are eagerly waiting to receive the President, president's press secretary Ihsanul Karim told the news agency after the meeting.

The Indian envoy said the visit will further strengthen the friendly relations between the two neighbouring countries.
