Information minister meets editors, senior journalists

Information Minister Abul Kalam Azad Saturday exchanged views with the editors and senior journalists of newspapers and news agencies in the conference room of his ministry on the prevailing situation of the BDR mutiny, reports BSS.

Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni spoke on the occasion. Prime Minister's Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad also attended.

The information minister sought suggestions from the senior journalists and urged media to play a more responsible role in the current situation so that confusions and controversies could be avoided.

Both the ministers thanked media for their help in bringing the situation under control.
