A female inmate of a non-governmental correctional centre has died as she fell off the multi-storey centre building while trying to flee in the city's Mirpur area, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Sumi Akhter, 18, an inmate of the centre run by Association for Correction and Social Rehabilitation (ACSR) at 2/B Darus Salam Road under Mirpur police station.
