Int'l Art Exhibition inaugurated

The Asiatic Society of Bangladesh (ASB) inaugurated a 16-day International Art Exhibition on the occasion of Ekushey February and UNESCO declared International Mother Language Day, said a press release.
University of Dhaka Vice-chancellor SMA Faiz opened the exhibition as the chief guest while Jahanara Abedin, wife of Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin, attended the ceremony as the special guest.
Distinguished artists from India, Nepal, Malaysia, Germany, Greece, USA, Spain, UK and host country Bangladesh will participate in the exhibition.
Some rare works of Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin, SM sultan, Safiuddin Ahmed and other prominent artists of the country are being displayed at the show.
The exhibition will remain open at the auditorium of the society everyday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
