Int’l Day of Persons with Disabilities today

International Day of Persons with Disabilities and National Disabled Day-2018 will be observed in the country as elsewhere in the world today (Monday) aiming to create mass awareness to extend supports and provide adequate facilities for the people with disablities, reports BSS.

On the eve of the day, President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina issued separate messages, urging local and foreign organisations and the affluent section of the society to extend their helping hands for the welfare of the people with disabilities.

They wished success of all programmes of the day and greeted all people with disabilities.
