A two-member Iranian delegation led by Dr Ali Azam Khosravi called on BUET Vice-chancellor Prof Khaleda Ekram at the latter\'s office in the city Wednesday.
A two-member Iranian delegation led by Dr Ali Azam Khosravi, official representative of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, called on BUET Vice-chancellor Prof Khaleda Khanam at the latter's office Wednesday, said a press release.
They discussed various issues relating on mutual interest, especially education and they visited different departmental laboratories of BUET to observe the present existing facilities.
Dean of faculty of Architecture and Planning of BUET Prof Shaheda Rahman, Dean of faculty of Civil Engineering Prof Dr M Mirjahan Miah, Dean of faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Prof Dr Aminul Hoque, Dean of faculty of Engineering Prof Md Manwarul Islam and Dean of faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof Dr Maglub Al Nur and Iranian Embassy in Bangladesh First Secretary Bahram Saifzadeh were present on the occasion, the release added.
