KUSTIA, Jan 26 (UNB): Vice-chancellor of Islamic University (IU) Professor Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari came under attack by some unidentified miscreants on his way to Kushtia from Jhenidah early Friday.
Some miscreants stopped the car carrying the vice-chancellor by felling trees near Baroda area on Jhenidah-Kushtia Highway in Jhenidah while he was returning to the campus, Raton Shiekh, officer-in-charge of IU Police Station, said.
