Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib, Head of the Department of Management at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), has been honoured with the Excellence Researcher Award at the International Higher Education Excellence Award 2025, presented by Shinawatra University (SIU) in Thailand.
The award, conferred recently, recognises outstanding research impact and the promotion of international academic collaboration, says a statement.
Prof. Habib expressed his gratitude to SIU and Dr. Chanyanan Somthawinpongsai, Director of the International Reputation Centre, for the nomination.
In a statement, Prof. Habib noted that this recognition highlights IUB's commitment to quality education and research.
He also emphasised that IUB will continue to focus on fostering research excellence and academic leadership.
Earlier, Prof. Habib received the Supply Chain Management Award at the 8th Int’l Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM), held at the World University of Bangladesh.
