Jainal new chairman of Rajuk

Additional secretary GM Jainal Abedin Bhuiyan, who is now on post-retirement leave (PRL), has been made chairman of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) for a one-year period on contractual basis, reports UNB.

In this connection, a circular was issued by the Public Administration Ministry Tuesday.

The circular said, GM Jainal Abedin Bhuiyan will take charge as Rajuk chairman on April 21. He will replace Engineer Nurul Huda.

Nurul Huda was made Rajuk chairman on March 23, 2009 for one year on contractual basis.

Later, the government extended his tenure until March this year.
