Job festival begins at JU

A two-day job festival began at Zahir Raihan auditorium of Jahangirnagar University (JU) Tuesday amid enthusiasm and fanfare.

Organised by bdjobs.com, JU Vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Farzana Islam inaugurated the festival as the chief guest at 10.15am.

A total of 22 corporate and multinational companies from home and abroad will take part in the festival from where around 200 job seekers are likely to have opportunity to join 61 posts in different companies on merit basis, said a press release.

The companies collected curriculum vitae (CV) from the interested persons on Tuesday and they will finally appoint them through viva voce today (Wednesday).
