Journalist Fazal Shahabuddin dies

Noted journalist and poet Fazal Shahabuddin passed away at his Khilgaon residence in the city at 10:45 am Sunday, reports BSS.
He was 78.
Shahabuddin had been suffering from old-age complications.
He left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
He was buried at Banani graveyard Sunday evening after Namaz-e-janaza in Bashabo playground.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu expressed deep shock at the death of journalist and poet Fazal Shahabuddin.
In a message, he said the nation has lost a brilliant journalist and noted poet at his death.
