Journalist shot dead by muggers

GAZIPUR, Aug 27 (UNB): A journalist of a weekly newspaper was shot dead by muggers at Mirerbazar under Sadar Upazila here Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as SM Ahsan Bari (42), executive editor of weekly Samprotik Somoy, published from the capital city.
He was a resident of Sheorapara area of the capital and hailed from Barisal district. Witnesses said the muggers shot and wounded Ahsan seriously and snatched away his motorbike.
