Journalists\\\' Welfare Trust set up

The government set up Sunday Bangladesh Journalists' Welfare Trust as per subsection of 3 (1) of the Bangladesh Journalists Welfare Trust Act 2014, reports UNB.
The law came into effect on August 25 when a gazette notification in this regard was issued, said a PID handout.
As per the law, the Information Minister will be the chairman of the Trust, while the information secretary as its vice-chairman.
