Tarik Hasan Shahriar, Staff Reporter of Daily Sun has received United Nations Population Media Award 2011 for his investigative and objective reports on population, maternal and child health problems in the country, said a press release.
He has been selected for the prize as his reports were adjudged the best among them. The prize was handed over on World Population Day, (July 11) at Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the city.
