JS body for removal of legal hurdles to rly recruitment

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Railways Ministry recommended Wednesday taking necessary steps to remove the legal complications in manpower recruitment to accelerate the extension of railways across the country, reports UNB.

The parliamentary watchdog came up with the recommendation at its 14th meeting, held at the Parliament Secretariat.

Presided over by committee chairman ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, the meeting was attended by Railways Minister Md Mazibul Hoque, members of parliament Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, Md Ali Azgar, Md Mizanur Rahman, Md Sirajul Islam Mollah, Ahmad Noman and Yasin Ali.

About the preparation for Eid-ul-Azha, the Standing Committee recommended arranging additional trains and bogies to ensure uninterrupted services to homebound people during the Eid, and also asked the authorities concerned to make sure no cattle market is set up along rail lines.
