JU classes resume today

Academic and administrative activities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) resumed Sunday after 24 days of closure, reports BSS.
Most of the students were present in their classes while residential students came to their respective dormitories as halls reopened Saturday afternoon.
Additional police forces have been deployed in and around the campus to avert any untoward incidents.
The university remained closed following clash between police and students centring police torture on a student of the university on August 1.
