JU IBA, C & C-1 units' admission tests held

The admission tests for honours courses at Jahangirnagar University under the academic session 2022-23 were held on Sunday.
The tests include entrance examinations of the Institute of Business Studies (IBA-JU), 'C-1' unit under the Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Drama and Dramatics and 'C' unit under the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Bangabandhu Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture (BICLC).
The admission tests started at 9am with the IBA exam and ended at 5 pm in a total of six shifts.
The institute director and faculty deans reported that the attendance rate for the IBA examination was 71 per cent while the rates for the 'C-1' and 'C' unit exams were 70 and 80 per cent respectively.
The exam results will be published by the morning today (Monday).
Prof Dr Md Nurul Alam, vice-chancellor of the university, visited different centers during the examinations.
Today, the admission test for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Law under 'B' unit will be held in the first four shifts while the examination of Faculty of Business Studies under the 'E' unit will be held in the last two shifts.
