JU PDF gets new executive body

Physically-challenged Development Foundation (PDF) of Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit announced Thursday its new executive committee for 2015-16 term.

Kawser Hamid, a master's student of History Department, and Md Sumon Ali, a fourth year student of Journalism and Media Studies Department, were made president and general secretary respectively.

Central PDF president Mizanur Rahman Kiron, also founder of the organisation, announced on Thursday night the new committee at the seminar room of Archaeology Department.

PDF, a voluntary organisation, is working across the country to ensure rights and meet the needs of physically-challenged students. PDF unit was established at JU in 2008.
