JU viva-voce begins on Mar 18

The viva-voce for the first year Honours admission of Jahangirnagar University (JU) under the academic session 2013-14 will begin on March 18 and continue until March 20, said a press release.

Admission from the merit list will start on March 30 and will continue until April 3.

Admission from the waiting list will begin on April 6 and continue until April 10, JU deputy Registrar Muhammad Ali confirmed.

Classes of the first year students are expected to begin on April 16, he said.

The admission seekers on different quotas were also asked to collect forms from the Agrani Bank, JU branch within April 18 to 23 paying Tk 200.

The admission tests of JU started on February 16 and ended on March 3 where a total of 4,44,882 admission seekers appeared against 1943 seats.
