JU welcomes spring season

Jahangirnagar University (JU) has welcomed Pohela Falgun the first day of spring amid with festivity and fanfare on Thursday.

Ushering the new season JU Teacher Student Centre (TSC) kicked off a concert entitled 'Classical Night' at Selim Al Deen Muktamancha while JU acting Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. M A Matin addressed the function as the chief guest.

Meantime a colourful rally was also brought at the premises of Arts and Humanities faculty building which paraded the main streets of the campus with Bengali music and ended at the same places.

Marking the day, the Bangla Sangsad of JU Bangla department held a grand rally in front of New Arts building on the campus. JU Pro-VC Prof Afsar Ahmad addressed the rally as a chief guest.
