Justice Shahed Nuruddin, a judge of the High Court Division of the Supreme Court (SC), resigned on Thursday, while allegations against him were under investigation in the Supreme Judicial Council.
He submitted his resignation letter to the President through Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed, said SC spokesperson Muajjem Hussain. He also said Justice Shahed cited his personal difficulties as the reason for his resignation.
