Khalilur Rahman's contribution to journalism recalled

The Dhaka Journalists' Cooperative Housing Society Limited organised a meeting to condole the death of veteran journalist Khalilur Rahman on the office premises of the housing society at Mirpur in the city on Saturday.

Khalilur Rahman was the Consultant Editor of The Financial Express.

The meeting prayed for the eternal peace of his departed soul. Speakers at the meeting recalled the contribution of the late journalist towards true and objective journalism.

Presided over by Mr. Nurul Huda, it was addressed, among others, by Ziaul Haque, Syed Didar Bakth, Mofakkharul Anam, Rafiqul Islam, Aminul Huq, Mostafa Kamal Majumder, Akram Hossain Khan, Shajahan Majumder, Mokarram Hossain and Mobarak Hossain, among others.
