Khwaja Mozammel Hoque Foundation (KMRF) has distributed one-off working capital to poor and destitute families with a view to helping them create self-employment opportunities.
Foundation Chairman Khwaja Tipu Sultan gave away fund to 168 people at a ceremony in the capital recently, said a statement.
Since 2001, KMHF has been providing financial support to the poor and disadvantaged to help them come out of poverty.
