Many of the 120 Bangladeshi workers deported by Saudi Arabia on Friday night said they have been sent back despite having legal documents, reports UNB.

A Saudi Airlines flight carrying the workers landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11:25 pm, said Shariful Hasan, head of Brac Migration Programme.

Some of the workers accused Saudi police of detaining them even after possessing necessary documents.

The authorities concerned of Brac Migration Programme provided assistance, including food, to the Bangladeshi workers.

Another 130 Bangladeshi workers were deported by the Kingdom on Thursday night.

So far, around 11,000 to 12,000 workers have been sent back from Saudi Arabia this year, Shariful said.
