Language Movement hero Dr Mohiuddin passes away

Dr M Mohiuddin Khan, a Language Movement hero and renowned physician of Sirajganj district, died of old-age complications at his Sirajganj town residence on Friday morning, reports BSS.

He was 88, family sources said.

Dr Mohiuddin, a second batch student of Dhaka Medical College, left behind his two sons, three daughters as well as a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

He was directly involved in the great Language Movement during his student life and was arrested for this.

Dr Mohiuddin started his career as a doctor in Sirajganj and was engaged in public welfare.
