Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said Wednesday the government is going to build a terminal building at Postogola, with all the modern facilities for the convenience of the launch passengers of southern districts, reports BSS.
The minister also urged the Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) to build a multistoried shopping complex on the opposite side of Sadarghat Launch Terminal for the convenience of the shop owners and hawkers and to ease the traffic jam.
Shajahan came up with the observations while inaugurating construction work of the road stretched between Sadarghat and Shamshan Ghat in the area.
