LGE assistance for ICDDR,B

Labour union of one of South Korea's largest electronics companies, LG Electronics Inc, and International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) Monday that will provide the hospital $95,000 to enhance patient care.
At a special event at ICDDR,B, popularly known as 'The Cholera Hospital' the vice chairman of LG Electronics Inc Labour Union Headquarters Mr Sang-Geol Lee and ICDDR,B executive director Prof John D Clemens signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
ICDDR,B provides free-of-charge care to around 0.12 million patients a year suffering from diarrhoeal diseases. The majority of patients are children under five years of age.
