Light rain likely today--------------

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Sunday), according to the Met Office.

It may also occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls.

Day temperature may rise by (1-2)°C and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature in the country on Saturday was recorded at 34.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 23.3 degrees in Bandarban.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 32.5 degrees Celsius on Saturday and the lowest was 27.7 degrees.
