Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three persons, including a listed criminal, along with five firearms from the city's Shyampur area Monday night.
RAB sources said a team from RAB-3 unit raided four-storied Alam Market at Postagola in the city at about 10:15pm and arrested the listed criminal Badrul Alam Labu and two of his accomplices -- Habib Ahmed Monir and Khalequzzaman Rony-- for possessing three pistols and two revolvers.
The elite force also recovered eight rounds of bullet, four magazines and 27 pieces of contraband Yaba tablets.
