Locals lynch two 'robbers' in N'ganj

NARAYANGANJ, Jan 17 (UNB): Two suspected robbers were killed and four others injured in a mob beating at Baligaon in Bandar upazila early Wednesday.

Quoting locals, Additional Superintendent of police M Sharifuddin said a gang of 15/16 robbers entered the area around 5:00am to commit robbery.

Sensing their presence, a group of local people went to a mosque of the area and announced the attack of the robber gang using a mike, Sharifuddin added.

Following the announcement, locals came out of their houses and besieged six members of the gang.
