Locals spot missing youth dead in lake

The body of a missing youth was found floating in a lake in Brahmanbaria, reports bdnews24.com.

Md Rana, 19, was found dead around 11:30am on Saturday, said Ishtiaque Ahmed, a sub-inspector at Brahmanbaria Sadar Model Police Station.

Rana, born in the district's Chondalkhil village, disappeared on January 15. His family filed a complaint with local police.

The body was found by locals and has been sent for a postmortem examination to the Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital. No injury marks were found on the victim, Ahmed said.
