Low forms over Bay, rain likely today

A low pressure area has formed over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas, according to the Met Office.
Besides, rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country until 6:00 pm today (Tuesday).
Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Monday at 35 degrees Celsius in Khulna while the lowest temperature 23 degrees Celsius in Dimla of Rangpur.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 26 degrees.
