Madrasah teachers, students arrested

GOPALGANJ, Nov 20 (UNB): Police arrested 10 people, including eight madrasah teachers and students, from the district town Thursday.
Police said they were informed that some people were holding a clandestine meeting at a house at Mohammadpurpara in the town.
The law enforcers raided the house at about 4:00 am and arrested six teachers, two students and a staff of Cadet Madrasah, and owner of the house.
The arrested were identified as madrasah teachers Hemayetullah, Nazir Bin Hashem, Mohibullah, Abdus Shukur, Ismail Hossain and Jalal and students Barek Hossain and Saiful Islam, staff Abdur Razzak and house owner Mizanur Rahman.
They were taken to the local thana for interrogation.
