Mahbub-Uz-Zaman, a professional diplomat, has been appointed Bangladesh's new High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, reports UNB.
Mahbub, after completing his MSS degree from the Dhaka University in Economics, joined the Foreign Service in 1988.
He also served Bangladesh Missions in New Delhi, Ottawa, New York, Tokyo and Geneva.
He is married to Shahreen Murshed.
