Maid tortured to death in city, one held

A housemaid, who was allegedly tortured three days back, died at a city hospital Thursday morning, reports BSS.
Police detained one person for his suspected involvement in the torture.
The victim was identified as Diti Mony, 15, daughter of Zahangir Hossain, a resident of house no-22, road no-20 at Rupnagar.
